Kaley Kmyta - Owner

After working in a veterinary clinic through high school and owning pets her entire life, Kaley knew she wanted to work with animals. In June of 2003, Kaley graduated with honours from the veterinary technician program at St. Clair College being awarded the animal compassion award in her graduating year.
She practiced as a veterinary technician and managed 2 practices before opening Northern Paws Pet Spa in December 2008. Her goal is to provide superior pet care services, with the knowledge and experience her clients can trust. Along with 12 years of veterinary experience, Kaley also has over 10 years of grooming experience, and will ensure the staff of Northern Paws treat your pet like one of their own!

Kelly Hearn - Pet Stylist/Grooming Manager

Kelly is a PetStylist and ourgrooming manager, and has been with Kaley since Northern Paws opened in 2008. Starting as Kaley's first assistant, Kelly apprenticed with Kaley and has been grooming full tim since 2009. Kelly's passion for animals makes her an amazing part of our team and is an excellent with nervous pets and is our primary cat groomer. Along with being one of the main PetStylists, she is also responsible as grooming Manager to ensure the overall experience of both pets and their owner(s), is the best experience possible while at Northern Paws Pet Spa.

Trish Foisy - Receptionist/Office Manager

Trish is our Full-time Receptionist and Office Manager. Trish has been with us since July 2009 part-time, and is now an intergal part of our team on a daily basis. Trish has a natural love for animals, and her happy and outgoing personality makes her a great addition to our team. Trish is the cheery voice and face our clients deal with on the front-line, and is also responsible for many office duties to help manage the spa, ensuring the spa runs efficiently.

Kim Schultz - Pet Stylist/Specialty Groomer

Kim is one of our Pet Stylists and also our specialty groomer (focusing on specialty cuts) and joined our team in the fall of 2011! Kim has extensive experience as a groomer, working mainly down south for the past 6 years. She worked as a groomer and instructor for a grooming academy, and her workmanship demonstrates her skill and experience. Kim has been an amazing addition to our team, instantly becoming a great fit with the staff, and using her natural love for animals to fit our protocol for demonstrating a loving and caring approach with all of the animals that come into the spa.

Sonja Irving- Part time Pet Stylist

Sonja is our most recent addition, and we are happy she joined us! With many years of grooming experince in a varitey of salons, Sonja has a great love for animals and grooming. She also has an impressive educational background with degrees in history and library from McGill University.

Paige Bailey - Spa Cleaning Attendant

Paige is our part-time spa cleaning attendant and has been with us since the summer of 2011. Paige's attention to detail and dedication to maintaining the spa's cleanliness makes her a very important part of our team!
