Kaley Kmyta - Owner

After working in a veterinary clinic through high school and owning pets her entire life, Kaley knew she wanted to work with animals. In June of 2003, Kaley graduated with honours from the veterinary technician program at St. Clair College being awarded the animal compassion award in her graduating year.
She practiced as a veterinary technician and managed 2 practices before opening Northern Paws Pet Spa in December 2008. Her goal is to provide superior pet care services, with the knowledge and experience her clients can trust. Along with 12 years of veterinary experience, Kaley also has over 10 years of grooming experience, and will ensure the staff of Northern Paws treat your pet like one of their own!

Trish Foisy - Spa Manager

Trish is our Full-time Receptionist and Spa Manager. Trish has been with us since July 2009 part-time, and is now an intergal part of our team on a daily basis. Trish has a natural love for animals, and her happy and outgoing personality makes her a great addition to our team. Trish is the cheery voice and face our clients deal with on the front-line, and is also responsible for many office duties to help manage the spa, ensuring the spa runs efficiently.

Kim Schultz - Full-time Pet Stylist

Kim is one of our Pet Stylists and also our specialty groomer (focusing on specialty cuts) and joined our team in the fall of 2011! Kim has extensive experience as a groomer, working mainly down south for the past 6 years. She worked as a groomer and instructor for a grooming academy, and her workmanship demonstrates her skill and experience. Kim has been an amazing addition to our team, instantly becoming a great fit with the staff, and using her natural love for animals to fit our protocol for demonstrating a loving and caring approach with all of the animals that come into the spa.

Roxanne Charbonneau - Full-time Pet Stylist

Our latest full-time staff addition, we are proud to have Roxanne on our team! With many years of experience and strong grooming skills, she provides outsanding care to every dog she grooms. She started her grooming career in 2006 and have been striving to perfect the art of scissor cuts as well as proper breed standard cuts ever since. After all her years grooming, she still remains fascinated by the complex art of dog grooming and is always looking to learn new styles and techniques. She is the proud owner of 2 little Brussels Griffons, a rough coated female and a smooth coated male. Aside from being a dog lover she is also an avid fish keeper with a collection of rare exotic fish.

Jen Patterson - Pet Styling Assistant

Jen will soon be re-joining the Northern Paws Team! Jen has worked with us in the past and has been away exploring other career options. We are excited to welcome Jen back part time as her passion and loving attitude with our furry friends adds such importance to our team! Jen will be assisting the grooomers and is also responsible for her own bath & brush and Bath, brush & tidy appointments! In her free time Jen enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog Kida ( seen in the picture), and her cats Toby,Zeeko and Raina.

Paige Bailey - Spa Cleaning Attendant

Paige is our part-time spa cleaning attendant and has been with us since the summer of 2011. Paige's attention to detail and dedication to maintaining the spa's cleanliness makes her a very important part of our team!

Laura McCartney - Part-time Pet Stylist

Laura has recently joined us, and also owns her own grooming business from her home in Corbeil. She has been grooming for over 5 years and is a true animal lover! She is the owner of a Toy poodle, a St Bernard and a Great Dane and also a proud mom of three kids!

Sara Carson - Part-time Assistant Pet Stylist

Sara has just recently joined our team and has been a great addition!She has been working with animals for as far back as she can remember, primarily doing training, agility, tricks, obedience and more. She is the owner of her own business 'Paws Up Dog Training' and wanting to pursue a career in grooming. Sarah spends almost all of her free time doing photography and training and loving her best buddy "hero" a border collie. Sarah has even appeared with Hero on David Letterman for his "trick talent!"
